Stablewood Springs Luxury Eco Resort and Spa

Perched on a hillside in Guadalupe River Valley, only an hour from San Antonio, is a wonderful new eco-friendly resort and spa, Stablewood Springs.

Guests are free to roam 140 acres of Hunt countryside teeming with diverse wildlife, including herds of white tail, black tail and axis deer, wild turkey and a wide variety of birds. There are bike trails through the forest, plenty of walking tracks and, of course, various river activities to enjoy.

Designed to be as sustainable as possible, the villas were built using Compressed Earth Bricks (CEBs) created on site using 100% natural materials. Buildings constructed with CEBs are highly energy efficient, resistant to unruly weather, mold and insect infestation and help reduce carbon emissions as materials don’t have to be ferried half way round the world.

As part of the boutique service on offer, Stablewood Springs have even gone so far as setting up an account with a green luxury car company should guests need transport services but with all the activities on offer, and a dedicated concierge system to book anything guests desire, it’s unlikely those staying at the resort will want to leave this hidden gem in the heart of Texan Hill Country.
