Canvas Chic Luxury Yurt Campsite - Volunteers Needed

UK eco-blog Green Traveller has posted an ad on behalf of the owners of Canvas Chic. They’re looking for people who would like to spend the whole month of April in the South of France setting up a luxury eco-friendly yurt campsite.

Richard Hammond, editor of Green Traveller, says, “The owners [of Canvas Chic] Lodewijk and Ruth are looking for two volunteers who are ‘enthusiastic, hard working and who are willing to learn quickly’. The work includes putting up the yurts, building yurt floors, building and moving furniture, painting the buildings and bar, forest and grounds maintenance.

In return for the work, Lodewijk and Ruth will provide travel, food and board for the month.

If you know of someone who may be interested, email: info [at] canvaschic.com or phone Lodewijk on: +33 4 66 24 21 81.”

If any Eco Travel readers are up for it, do let me know. It would be great to post your experiences here on the website.
