I adore Japanese food too and love nothing more than to sit for hours choosing little morsels of sushi but I try to limit my visits - you know, everything in moderation, as they say.

That is so hurtful to hear. There are not so many species of whales left. Do they want to destroy their population completely?

It is a sad fact. Japanese cusine is "endangering" the whales and tunas. I personally love Japanese food so much, and there is a report saying that "Michelin Guides calls city global 'leader in gourmet cuisine,' gives it more stars than Paris".

How to balance the culture and environment？ I wonder how many people are willing to forgo the chance to have Japanese cusine when they are in Tokyo? Thank you for reminding us!
