Glaciers are melting, oceans are warming, everyone (finally) is worrying about all that carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere. Here’s a few updates from the Web:

Breathing Earth simulates the ongoing real-time CO2 emissions of every country on earth, plus their population growth rates. You’ll need an up-to-date Flash player for this one, but it’s pretty cool. Scroll your mouse over the map and info on each country will appear…

ClimateCare has a scheme for offsetting your CO2 emissions. They will calculate how much CO2 is generated by your travel, and set a fee to support projects that will balance it out … the money funds projects in renewable energy and energy efficiency, or goes to plant forests that will absorb CO2 from the atmosphere…
