EarthDance eco-films on tour
For those of us with minuscule attention spans… hey, are you still with me?… this traveling film festival offers 90 minutes of short features that emphasize the joy, beauty, humor, and hope found in the environment. “At EarthDance, we believe that there is a correlation between what we feed our heads, and how we perceive/live in the world,” says festival director Zakary Zide.
The show has already been to Taos, San Francisco, and Miami, and on Oct. 20-22 will show at the Bioneers Conference in Boulder, Colo., then move to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Nov. 29 – Dec. 3.
Zak told me he’ll soon post a full schedule at the festival Web site. And if you have filmmaking ambitions, he wants to hear from you. “We are currently working on and accepting submissions for the 2007 EarthDance premiere here at the Oakland Museum of California on April 14 and 15,” he said.
